History of KK8 – Kolejkinabaluum | Kolej Kediaman Kinabalu Since 1983

The history of Kolejkinabaluum KK8 dates back to September 1983, when construction began on the 8th Residential College of Universiti Malaya. Upon its completion, KK8 was formally named Kolej Kediaman Kinabalu, a tribute to the majestic Mount Kinabalu – the highest peak in Malaysia and a symbol of national pride and natural heritage.

KK8 has consistently been recognised as one of the most active and community-spirited residential colleges at Universiti Malaya.
