About Kolejkinabaluum – Kolej Kediaman Kinabalu (KK8), Universiti Malaya
Kolejkinabaluum, officially known as Kolej Kediaman Kinabalu (KK8), is the 8th Residential College at Universiti Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Also known as Kolej Kediaman Kelapan, KK8 was established in September 1983 and has since served as home to hundreds of undergraduate and postgraduate students from a wide range of academic disciplines within the UM campus.


Over the decades, KK8 has produced thousands of accomplished alumni across various industries and professions. The college continues to attract students who value a supportive residential environment that encourages both academic growth and personal development. From its iconic Bilik Suluq (The Cube) multipurpose hall to its diverse cultural programmes, Kolejkinabaluum KK8 remains one of the most beloved residential colleges at Universiti Malaya.
